Halloween 2012

We had a fantastic Halloween this year with lots of fun activities. We enjoyed the Harvest Party our church, Rhapsody Church, hosts every year at the YMCA, we made crafts,visited 2 pumpkin patches and of course, went Trick or Treating. We also keep with a few special traditions of making cup cakes the night before Halloween, having a "Jack O Lantern" pizza for dinner, and watching The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown.

Harvest Party!

We welcomed fall today with a fun at the Clark County Historical Museums annual harvest party. We went on a hay ride, made bird feeders, and ate a yummy lunch of hot dogs, corn on the cob, and fresh apples! But the true highlight of the party was making our own scarecow! The kids had a great time and we now proudly display, Tommy, our scarecow alog side our store bought mini scarecrow Nicholas named, Tiki, ( don't ask me why.) We love fall and are very happy it is finally

here!

The school year is back in session and that means Nicholas is back to school at St. Andrew Christian Preschool! This year Nicholas is the 4-5 year old class, The Orange Room, on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursdays. He has Teacher's Lori and Kim. Conor is also at school this year in the Two and You class in the Grape Room. It is a Mommy and Me class that we have on day a week, Tues. Both boys are in the afternoon classes this year, which is a bit of a change for us, but has worked out to be great for doing housework in the morning for me and leaves me with the afternoons to run errands. Conor has Teacher Sara and he LOVES going to school like Nicholas! We are excited for a great new year to begin!
